The Project

Developing Ghana’s Next-Generation Granite Operation

Harriben Granite Limited is developing an integrated granite and natural stone project near Cape Three Points in Ghana’s Western Region. The broader property covers approximately 1,000 acres of coastal land, including about 5 kilometres of beachfront, while the current mining licence covers approximately 160 acres of the concession. Its coastal location provides access to Ghana’s transportation infrastructure and offers potential to serve both domestic and international markets.

Project Progress

HGL has made substantial progress in developing the project, including the granting of a mining licence for approximately 160 acres effective 6 September 2024, completion of EPA permit consultancy in April 2025, substantial advancement of geological exploration and quarry planning, and engagement with international stone industry participants, equipment manufacturers, technical specialists, and prospective customers.

Nature’s Strength. Engineered for Excellence.

Harnessing premium natural stone and modern quarrying technology to deliver quality, consistency, and long-term value.

An Integrated Quarry & Processing Operation

The long-term development strategy is to establish an integrated operation taking granite from quarry extraction through processing into finished products. The planned value chain includes commercial granite blocks, kerbstones, crushed stone and aggregates, and future production of polished slabs, tiles, and other finished stone products.

Resource & Technical Development

Exploration undertaken to date has identified approximately 9 million cubic metres of potentially exploitable rock, with additional exploration potential within the broader concession. The granite-bearing formation extends for approximately 5 kilometres along the coastline. Further geological work and mine planning will continue to refine the resource, quarry design, extraction methodology, and long-term development strategy.

Looking Ahead

HGL is progressing toward an integrated quarry and stone-processing operation capable of supplying both raw and finished granite products. The development pathway moves from the extraction and export of commercial granite blocks toward local processing and the manufacture of higher-value products such as slabs, tiles, kerbstones, and other architectural stone products.
